Ziggy Stardust Series

This is a series that started by accident. I accidentally sprayed bleach instead of water on a dyed hat and magically, a varigated surface appeared! I liked it so much that I continued experimenting with bleach and it's effects on other hats, then I over-dyed them, creating interesting psychedelic surfaces that reminded me of nebulas, gas and matter formations in space. Of course I brought them down to earth with hide bands and wild turkey feathers...and the inevitable torching! Here's what I have to date. The most recent is called Ziggy Stardust and I'm including a fuscia ostrich feather to add or subtract as the occasion requires.
